In Spring 2022, the biannual event hosted by Dr. Aaron Wunsch at Juilliard centered on the enchanting piano works of the renowned music couple, Robert and Clara Schumann. Under the guidance of Professor Wunsch, each selected performer had the unique opportunity to partake in a masterclass led by the esteemed Ms. Orli Shaham or Mr. Shai Wosner.

 

The culmination of this musical celebration unfolded in Paul Hall at Juilliard, where Jiahao delivered a mesmerizing performance of Robert Schumann's Klavierstücke, Op. 111. This performance was a profound and innovative collaboration, as it featured an actor and an actress portraying the roles of Robert and Clara Schumann, who, in a poignant prelude to the music, read their heartfelt letters to each other on stage, setting the stage for a truly captivating musical experience.
